Known as the “Graveyard of the Atlantic”, much of the offshore diving is to war time wrecks. Several artificial reefs have been created over time and these provide excellent avenues for sand tiger shark viewing.
Two main dives shops in the area: Discovery Diving in Beaufort and Olympus Diving in Beaufort.
